SPRING FORTH NOW 2023
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
I Thessalonians 5:5-8
Though life’s challenges are common to us all, life’s challenges do not have to impact our lives the same, we who embrace God’s ordered steps for our lives are different, different because we embrace the fact that w have been Chosen for our journey. Therefore, our approach to life’s challenges is not from a position of weakness or darkness but instead from a position of strength, light, because we have already won. We understand that the challenges of life are not just what they appear on the surface but instead with insight, through the lens of the Spirit of our Chosen-ness, we watch and put our head, our thinking in the game. Putting our head in the game leads us to get in the way of that which appears to be a detriment to our living life and life more abundantly by turning the light of our promise on and in the challenge. In the light of who we are and whom God has Chosen us to be, we are well-equipped because God already knew where we would be and what we would need and has provided it and we are able to see it when we walk in the light of our Most Favored Status.
