“HIGH AND LIFTED UP” – Isaiah 6

From 2025 → 2026 | When one season dies, vision rises

BIG IDEA (For Everybody)

Isaiah sees God high and lifted up right after King Uzziah dies. Translation? When what we leaned on falls apart, we finally see what’s been holding us up the whole time.

This is about vision, identity, and purpose—not just religion.

🔥 POINT 1: DREAM BIG (vv. 1–4)

What’s Happening

  • A king dies. Stability ends.

  • Isaiah doesn’t spiral—he sees higher.

  • God is still seated. Still sovereign. Still filling space.

Uzziah = “The Lord is my strength.”Even strength has a season. God doesn’t.

The seraphim (burning ones) move with balance—six wings:

  • Worship

  • Humility

  • Movement

That’s not hype—that’s alignment.

Cliff Note (Plain Talk)

Your dream can’t be limited to what just ended.Loss doesn’t cancel vision—it clarifies it.

Practical Application

  • Christian: Ask God for a higher lens, not just a quick fix.

  • Non-Christian: Re-evaluate your goals after disruption—what still matters?

  • Black Community Word: We’ve survived endings before. Our vision has always been bigger than the system that tried to shrink us.

  • This Week: Write one dream that feels bigger than your current situation—and don’t apologize for it.

🔥 POINT 2: DECIDE TO BECOME (vv. 5–8)

What’s Happening

  • Isaiah sees God and immediately sees himself.

  • No pretending. No posing.

  • He gets cleansed, not condemned.

  • Then God asks a question—not a command.

Who will go?

Cliff Note (Plain Talk)

Vision demands honesty. You can’t become who you’re called to be while clinging to who you used to be.

This isn’t shame—it’s clarity.

Practical Application

  • Christian: Stop waiting to be “perfect” before saying yes to God.

  • Non-Christian: Growth starts when you name what needs to change.

  • Gen Z Version: Healing > hiding. Authenticity is the upgrade.

  • This Week: Identify one habit, mindset, or fear you need to release to move forward.

🔥 POINT 3: DEMONSTRATE YOUR POWER (vv. 9–13)

What’s Happening

  • Isaiah is sent with a hard assignment.

  • Not applause. Not instant results.

  • Still—he goes.

Even when things look stripped down, God says:There’s a seed left.

A remnant.A future.Substance still in the roots.

Cliff Note (Plain Talk)

Power isn’t loud—it’s faithful. You don’t need a crowd to be effective. You need conviction.

Practical Application

  • Christian: Obedience is success—even when outcomes are unclear.

  • Non-Christian: Impact doesn’t always look viral; consistency still changes lives.

  • Black Community Word: We are the seed that survived the fire. Our presence alone is proof of power.

  • This Week: Show up fully in one space where you’ve been tempted to quit.

 THE MINUTE THAT MATTERS

You don’t control time—but you do control response.

“Just a tiny little minute, but eternity is in it.”

This year isn’t about rushing. It’s about using what you’ve been given—on purpose.

FINAL WORD (Watchnight Energy)

Isaiah didn’t apply for the call.He responded to the moment.

2026 isn’t asking you to be famous. It’s asking you to be available, aligned, and awake.

Dream big.Decide who you’re becoming.Demonstrate your power.

God is still high and lifted up—and there’s room for you to rise too. 💨🔥
