Sermon Title: Affirm Your Faith Pt. II
Text: Numbers 13:25–30 (MSG)Theme: Hidden Manna
🌟 Main Message:
Faith affirms God’s truth, God’s process, and God’s promise—even when fear is loud.
The Israelites scouted the land God promised. Most were overwhelmed by fear—but Caleb affirmed his faith and trusted God. This sermon invites us to do the same.
1. TRUST THE TRUTH (vv. 25–27)
“It does flow with milk and honey! Just look at this fruit!”
🧭 What It Means:
God’s promise was real. The land was everything God said it would be. But the truth wasn’t just in the land—it was in the faithfulness of the One who sent them.
💡 For Christians:
Don’t doubt what God already confirmed.
Trust the evidence of God’s goodness in your life—past answered prayers, open doors, and the peace He provides.
💬 For Everyone:
Learn to trust what's true, not just what feels scary.
Truth shows up in results—love, hope, peace. Fear won’t give you that.
🛠 Practical Application:
Write down 3 things God has already done for you—big or small.
Look at your life and ask: “What’s the fruit I can already see?” Let it remind you that God is active.
2. TRUST THE PROCESS (vv. 28–29)
“The only thing is... the people are fierce... the cities are huge... the giants are there…”
🧭 What It Means:
Yes, the obstacles are real. But fear twists reality and keeps you from moving forward. Faith doesn’t ignore challenges—it moves through them with confidence.
💡 For Christians:
God’s plan isn’t painless—it’s purposeful.
Fear can distort how you see your assignment. Stay grounded in God's direction, not your emotions.
💬 For Everyone:
Every big opportunity comes with a big challenge.
Don’t let fear change your mind about a good thing.
🛠 Practical Application:
When fear rises, speak truth to it: “This is hard—but I’m still moving forward.”
Break the process down: What’s one small step I can take today?
3. TRUST THE PROMISE (v. 30; cf. Exodus 3:7–8)
“Let’s go up and take the land—now. We can do it.”
🧭 What It Means:
God promised the land to Israel in Exodus 3. Caleb remembered that promise, trusted God, and spoke with boldness. Faith affirms what God said—no matter what we see.
💡 For Christians:
Go back to God’s promises when fear tries to paralyze you.
Caleb had a different spirit—a faith that believed God could still do what He said.
💬 For Everyone:
Life makes promises too—success, love, peace—but only God’s promises never fail.
If you’re unsure about God, try this: Test His promises through obedience, not observation.
🛠 Practical Application:
Memorize a promise from Scripture that speaks to your situation (Ex. “I will never leave you” – Heb. 13:5).
Speak faith daily: “God, You brought me this far—I trust You to finish what You started.”
💥 Final Word:
Fear turns promises into threats. Faith turns threats into testimony.Like Caleb, you can affirm your faith by trusting the truth, walking through the process, and standing on the promise.
No matter your age or stage—God has “hidden manna” for you: daily nourishment, supernatural insight, and quiet strength. But you must choose faith over fear.
