And the LORD hath given me knowledge of it, and I know it: then thou shewedst me their doings. But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered. But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.
Jeremiah 11:18-20
Jeremiah discovers that even when people plot against you in the dark, God still sees everything in the light. The Hidden Manna in this passage is that God’s protection often works behind the scenes, exposing what you didn’t even know was forming against you. Shine means refusing to dim your calling just because others don’t understand it or can’t handle it. Jeremiah didn’t fight his own battles—he handed his cause to God, trusting that divine justice shines brighter than human revenge. When you release your hurt to God, He releases His peace to you, and that glow can’t be faked or stolen. Today, trust that God is handling what you can’t see and defending what you can’t control. Keep shining—your light is safest when God Himself is the One protecting it.
