According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will
Ephesians 1:4-5
Our community carries generations of stories, prayers, and perseverance—and Ephesians 1:4–5 (KJV) reminds us that God chose us before the struggle ever showed up. Focus shifts when you realize your life isn’t an afterthought but a deliberate act of love and intention. To live High And Lifted Up is to stand rooted in divine adoption, not swayed by rejection or comparison. For Black people and our communities, this is grounding truth: we were claimed before we were questioned, and purposed before we were pressured. When your Focus rests on being chosen, your hands move boldly toward what God has promised. This word stretches across generations, calling us to dream big without apology. Walk forward Focused, lifted, and confident in the love that named you first.
