O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed. My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?
Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.
For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?
Psalm 6:1-5
David’s prayer is raw and honest, showing us that intentional faith is not about hiding our weakness but bringing it openly before God. He acknowledges his frailty and pleads for mercy, knowing that God’s compassion is his only hope. In moments like this, when life be life'in, Hidden Manna is found—strength that comes not from ourselves, but from God’s mercy and sustaining love. Intentionality means turning to God even when we feel overwhelmed, trusting Him to restore us rather than running from Him in shame. David understood that his life had purpose: to give thanks and declare God’s goodness while breath remained in him. Every cry for help became an act of worship and dependence. Today, choose to intentionally lay your weakness before the Lord, and let His mercy feed you with the strength you need to rise and give Him praise.
