Your faith was never meant to rest on personality, platform, or performance. I Corinthians 2:5 (KJV) declares that our confidence must stand in the power of God, not in the wisdom of men. Knowing Your Blindspots means recognizing how easily charisma can replace conviction and influence can masquerade as anointing. A perspective that is High And Lifted Up refuses to anchor belief in human applause, and instead roots trust in divine authority. For Black people who have witnessed both inspiring leadership and painful disappointment, this scripture recalibrates where we place our hope. Faith built on God’s power stands steady when personalities falter, and systems shake. Let every generation build boldly, think critically, and trust deeply in a power that cannot fail.
