But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
I Corinthians 13:10-12
You are not stuck in the “in part” season forever. I Corinthians 13:10–12 (KJV) reminds us that what is partial will give way to what is complete, and that limitation is not the final word over your life. To Transcend is to live with the awareness that today’s blurred reflection is not tomorrow’s full revelation. We see through a glass darkly now, but there is a vantage point High And Lifted Up where clarity is whole, and identity is settled. For Black people whose brilliance has often been filtered through distorted systems, this promise declares that distortion will not outlive destiny. Growth requires patience, but Transcendence requires vision that stretches beyond the present frame. Let every generation rise above what is unfinished, dream beyond what is visible, and move forward with confidence that fuller sight is on the way.
