DAILY MEDITATION

I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.

Psalm 118:5-7

The distresses of our lives demand that we reframe our problems, if we do not wish the distresses to drive and dictate our narratives. We can turn the distresses into opportunities. In reframing the situation as an opportunity we open ourselves up to possibilities for building out a well-lived and joy filled life, ‘for we know that all things work together for the good.” In our distresses we can call on the Lord and He will answer by impressing upon our minds vision, the very possibility of how, whatever we are facing can be worked out for our good. Thus, the opportunity presented by the distresses of our lives positions us to receive vision and challenges us to engineer that vision, Visioneer, in collaboration and co-creator status with God the Creator of all things. The distresses becomes God’s opportunity to advance us in the possession of our life and life more abundantly, Occupying Our Promise!
