DAILY MEDITATION

And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away! Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

Matthew 21:19-21

We have a command from God to be Fruitful and Multiply which is a direct result of working our assignment, God’s purpose and plan for our life. With God’s Words to and for you comes the abundance of God’s promises flowing in your life. If you choose not to work your assignment, you should not expect to bear fruit, good fruit of abundance. The power to LIVE and do so fully with the overflow of God’s abundance is dependent upon us working our assignment within our relationship with God, His purpose and plan and we would be able to do anything. God has promised to empower us with whatever is necessary to transform our spaces and situations into that which pleases God and fulfills His purpose and plan. If we choose not to flow with God’s purpose and plan, working our assignment, we cannot expect to bear good fruit in abundance but instead we run the risk of drying up and withering away. Perhaps the challenges of our life, our ability to LIVE hedges on our unwillingness to work our assignment, God’s purpose and plan for our lives. I challenge you today, get on assignment and work it and your relationship with God to spring forth and LIVE, causing rivers to spring forth, life in your wilderness experiences, making your crooked places straight and your rough places, smooth!
