And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.
Ruth 1:16-17
If we are going to recover it all, the Re-covering Process demands our commitment to the end. You can not expect to recover everything that is yours and not be willing to commit to the process that will bring it to pass. In today’s Daily Meditation text, Ruth is well aware that Naomi is at an age at which she will not be able to bear any more children, thus, her waiting for a son to marry his brother’s widow is out, yet she commits to the pathway before them. In addition, Ruth is a Moabite not even permitted in the assembly of the Hebrews, thus an outsider if she returns with Naomi to Israel, nevertheless, she declares her commitment and loyalty to Naomi and the pathway before them. The pathway before Ruth leads to her marrying Boaz, and they produce a child that leads to the birth of Christ, the manifested Word of God made flesh, real. I do not know what your Re-covering Process will entail, however, engage the process and commit to it fully, and it will produce your Hidden Manna, the manifested Word of God made flesh, real in your life as you trust the God of the how to work it all out for your good.
