DAILY MEDITATION

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Romans 8:3-6

As you and I prepare for 2018 one of our first advancing actions must be release. Release that which was so that we can make room for that which shall be and what shall become. Holding on to the old, whether good or bad, will only take up room from that which is prepared for us in this our new season. The new season before us is determined by our willingness to advance, to move forward. Living in The Spirit brings about the spirit of release as made possible because of Christ. Christ came that we would be released from sin and reconciled to God, allowing ourselves to be free to flow with The Spirit, the wind of God in hot pursuit of Him. Because we release to God, we are released, loosen from any and all things that would hinder or keep us from advancing to the realization of His promises for our lives. Without question letting go of some people, places, and things can and is difficult but in The Spirit, we have power, additional support to see and release not only that which is toxic in and for our lives but also the strength of the wind to flow in the promises of God. Let’s Go In 2018 turning it loose, releasing to God, The Spirit and flowing with Him and His promises. It is beneath our wings of action, God’s wind; Spirit will carry us to our life and life more abundantly unencumbered!
