Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.

For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes:

nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.

O love the LORD, all ye his saints:

for the LORD preserveth the faithful,

and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,

all ye that hope in the LORD.

Psalm 31:21-24

David praises God not because life was easy, but because God’s kindness met him in a fortified place of protection. The Hidden Manna here is that God knows how to keep you safe and shining at the same time. Shine means letting gratitude glow even after you’ve survived pressure, panic, and pain. When David thought he was cut off, God was actually covering him with mercy and strength. That’s what divine love does—it builds walls around your light so it doesn’t get extinguished. Today, take courage and let your heart be strong, knowing the Lord preserves those who trust Him. Keep Shining boldly—your survival itself is proof of God’s marvelous kindness at work in you.
