SPRING FORTH NOW

You are a garden fountain, a well of flowing water streaming down from Lebanon. Awake, north wind, and come, south wind! Blow on my garden, that its fragrance may spread everywhere. Let my beloved come into his garden and taste its choice fruits.

Song of Songs 4:15-16

As we prepare to transition from 2020 to 2021, what will be the lessons learned from our living; flowing in and through our experiences? The year 2020, we thought, would be a year of perfect vision turned out to be a year in which we had the opportunity to receive perfect vision if we made the choice to do so. We were forced into a series of lock down, slowing of the pace of all things as we knew them, forcing us to take time to reflect more and deeper than we had ever before. Although God is not the author of confusion, He is still Lord and I do believe that He knew and knows exactly what is necessary for us to live, move, and have our being in the midst of a pandemic. Therefore, the Lord used the pandemic as a perfect opportunity for us to choose to spend quality time with Him in order to uncover and discover our pathway of life which leads to our fullness of joy and at His righthand, pleasures forevermore, our perfect vision. This year we have been given a choice to see and seize what is necessary to promote our flowing in the garden of life and life more abundantly as promised by God, being fruitful and multiplying in which God is glorified and we are empowered to Tell It. In our ability to see and seize the opportunities of our lives, we are, thus, elevated above our press, by the Spirit of God and as we Catch The Wind of His Spirit we release the fragrance of God’s presence, power, and promises in our lives. This year of all years have taught us the importance of flowing in and through whatever is before us by choosing to be elevated by God’s Spirit, lifting us beyond the press of life and its challenges to see and seize His opportunities in which He is glorified and in turn, He glorifies us so that we may Tell It, be His witnesses. As the Song of Songs sings, we are because we choose to be; live, move, and have our being in God, commanding His Spirit to blow, releasing the fragrance of His promises fulfilled and seen in which He is revealed for the great things He has done, is doing and will do working in us!
