SPRING FORTH NOW

But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live. For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Romans 8:10-17 (NIV)

Life and its challenges will clutter our thoughts, especially our vision of what can and should be for our lives, influencing us to make choices that without the vicissitudes of life we may not make. As a result of the negative impact on our thinking caused by life and its challenges, we tend to be swayed toward choices and decisions that provide temporary relief to our situations, making us comfortable in the here and now. Often when we choose temporary relief it may not always align with our long-term interest in what can and should be for our lives. Therefore, as we commit to regular maintenance of our lives, God has provided us the opportunity to reevaluate our position and path in order for us to Readjust, realigning ourselves with His purpose and plan for our abundant life. Jesus’ death is God’s gift to us in which we have the right to reconcile our flesh, the reality of our experiences to the Spirit which leads and guides us to the fulfillment of God’s promises for our lives. Breathe: New Life and inhale more of the Spirit taking charge of your life, thus your choices and decisions will align with God’s promises for your life, connecting with the breath of life in you and live in your life and life more abundantly!
