Series: REVIVAL
“IN DUE SEASON”
Galatians 6:7-9 (KJV)Year Theme: HIGH AND LIFTED UP
BIG IDEA (For Everyone)
Revival doesn’t just happen in a church service—it happens when people make daily decisions that produce life.
What you plant today will show up tomorrow.
So:
sow intentionally
live responsibly
trust God’s timing
Because in due season…you will reap.
1. REVIVAL BEGINS WITH YOUR TAKING RESPONSIBILITY (v.7)
What’s Happening
Paul says:“Whatever a person sows, that shall they also reap.”
Actions have consequences.
God is not mocked—life responds to what we plant.
Cliff Note (Plain Talk)
You can’t plant negativity and expect peace.
Practical Application
Christian: Be intentional about how you live, speak, and treat people.
Non-Christian: Every choice shapes your future.
Gen Z / Millennials: Your habits today become your reality tomorrow.
Professionals: Discipline produces results over time.
Families: Healthy homes are built through consistent care and accountability.
Black Community Word: Revival starts when we stop believing we are powerless and start reclaiming ownership over our lives, communities, and future.
This Week: Identify one unhealthy pattern and replace it with one life-giving action.
2. REVIVAL IS ENHANCED BY YOUR CHOICES (v.8)
What’s Happening
Paul contrasts sowing to:
the flesh
or the Spirit
One produces corruption. The other produces life.
Your choices determine what grows in your life.
Cliff Note (Plain Talk)
What you feed will grow.
Practical Application
Christian: Feed your spirit with what strengthens your relationship with God.
Non-Christian: What you consistently invest in shapes your future.
Gen Z Word: Stop feeding things that drain your peace.
Professionals: Growth requires intentional investment in healthy habits and thinking.
Families: Environments shape outcomes—protect the atmosphere around you.
Black Community Word: We have to sow into healing, education, ownership, wellness, and community—not just survival.
This Week: Make one choice every day that feeds your purpose instead of your pressure.
3. REVIVAL IS PRODUCED BY YOUR CONFIDENCE IN GOD’S WORD (v.9)
What’s Happening
“Do not grow weary in well doing…”
Keep going even when results aren’t immediate.
There is a due season—a right time.
Cliff Note (Plain Talk)
Just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean nothing is growing.
Practical Application
Christian: Trust God’s timing even when you can’t yet see the harvest.
Non-Christian: Consistency often matters more than speed.
Gen Z Word: Don’t quit in the middle of your growth season.
Professionals: Long-term success requires patience and perseverance.
Families: Keep pouring into people you love—even when change feels slow.
Black Community Word: Our ancestors planted seeds they never fully saw grow—and because they didn’t quit, we’re here today.
This Week: Stay faithful to one thing you’ve been tempted to abandon.
BIG PICTURE TRUTH
Revival is not magic.It’s movement.
It happens when:
responsibility replaces excuses
intentional choices replace destructive patterns
faith replaces weariness
FINAL WORD
So:
keep sowing
keep growing
keep trusting
Because…
In due season, what God planted in you will rise.
