SPRING FORTH NOW - DAILY MEDITATION

Now that we are set right with God by means of this sacrificial death, the consummate blood sacrifice, there is no longer a question of being at odds with God in any way. If, when we were at our worst, we were put on friendly terms with God by the sacrificial death of his Son, now that we’re at our best, just think of how our lives will expand and deepen by means of his resurrection life! Now that we have actually received this amazing friendship with God, we are no longer content to simply say it in plodding prose. We sing and shout our praises to God through Jesus, the Messiah!

Romans 5:9-11 (MSG)

You and I have the right to every promise of God not because of how good we are or because we deserve it, but simply because of His love to and for us. The very things that would separate us from God’s promises of flourishing in and through all things have been taken away, destroyed because of the sacrifice of Christ, His shedding of blood which guarantees our reconciliation to His promises fulfilled in our lives. We have been set right, reconciled to God and His promises through Christ and whatever the gulf that separates, internally or externally, have been bridged, giving us direct access to God and His promises. It is up to you and I to take advantage of the bridge provided between where we are and what should be for our lives; we must choose to Receive our reconciliation in thought as well as actions. Everything begins in our thought-life and from there it is translated into declarations that fuels actions. We must take on a mindset in which we Receive reconciliation, oneness with God’s purposes and plans for our lives, despite and in spite of anything that would separate us from Him and His promises. Darkness and negativity of life is a deceiver, attempting to convince you in your mind, thought-life, that you cannot achieve and/or do not deserve to flourish because of something either lacking in you and/or the cooperation of the world/space in which you exist, it is a lie. You and I have an assurance that we are justified not by our own means but instead because of the unconditional love of God and as we Receive, He sends His Spirit, causing us to flow in the pathway of His promises. Catch The Wind of God’s Spirit and transform your mind, thought-life, that views whatever is before you as an opportunity to experience the power of reconciliation, empowering you to declare what should be fueling your action to make His promises, Word flesh!
