DAILY MEDITATION

And the Lord appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the Lord, who appeared unto him. And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the Lord, and called upon the name of the Lord. And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south.

Genesis 12:7-9

God always prepares us for that which will be, His promises for our lives, however, we must be sensitive and willing to Catch The Wind of God’s Spirit in order to understand and own it. Owning God’s promises for our lives keep them in the forefront of our minds, thoughts, and actions as we make decisions in our lives. The decision-making process in and through life’s experiences depend upon our owning our promises in order to reach our destiny. Before Abram ever came to the conflict between Lot and himself, God had already showed him that the land in which they reside was his promise, despite and in spite of conflict. Do not allow the conflict of your lives to alter or diminish your assignment and the receiving of your promise. Forge ahead in the midst of conflict; your struggles, disappointments, and confusion to receive what God has intended for your life. The conflict is not the driving factor, it is your promise, own it and allow your sensitivity to what God is doing, the larger context of what God is up to, reinforce who you are and what God has declared, spoken and allow His Word to become flesh, real, in your life. It is the Power Of Ownership that transcends and transforms your present reality to that which shall be and you acting on that invites, invokes the power of God in and over your life to accomplish what God intends. Catch The Wind of God’s Spirit which gives you a preview of what shall be and allow it to drive you, not conflict, people, places, or things but your promise!
