Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
John 4:10-14
As Jesus speaks to the woman at the well, He offers more than water—He offers living water, a sustaining presence that quenches the deepest thirst of the soul. His words remind us that All Along The Way, even when life feels dry and weary, He is there with Hidden Manna—spiritual nourishment we didn’t know we needed until we tasted it. Like the well that sits quietly yet faithfully in the heat of the day, God's provision often meets us in ordinary moments and forgotten places. The living water He gives becomes a wellspring within, not just refreshing us for the moment, but continually flowing through our trials, doubts, and daily demands. We don't have to strive or search anxiously—His grace is already waiting where we are, sustaining us in unseen, quiet ways. Each day, let us pause and draw deeply from the well within, knowing that God's Hidden Manna feeds us not just for survival, but for abundant, Spirit-filled living.
