DAILY MEDITATION
Six days before the Passover, Jesus went to Bethany, where Lazarus was, whom He had raised from the dead. So they gave a supper for Him there. Martha was serving, and Lazarus was one of those reclining at the table with Him. Then [a]Mary took a pound of very expensive perfume of pure [b]nard, and she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped His feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. But Judas Iscariot, one of His disciples, the one who was going to betray Him, said, “Why was this perfume not sold for [c]three hundred denarii and [the money] given to the poor?” Now he said this, not because he cared about the poor [for he had never cared about them], but because he was a thief; and since he had the money box]
serving as treasurer for the twelve disciples], he used to pilfer what was put into it. So Jesus said, “Let her alone, so that she may keep [the rest of] it for the day of My burial. You always have the poor with you, but you do not always have Me.” A large crowd of Jews learned that He was there [at Bethany]; and they came, not only because of Jesus, but also to see Lazarus, whom He had raised from the dead. So the chief priests planned to kill Lazarus also, because on account of him many of the Jews were going away [from the teaching and traditions of the Jewish leaders] and believing in Jesus [following Him as Savior and Messiah].

Transformational Living is rooted in our believing in Jesus. Jesus, the ultimate sacrifice for you and I, reconcile us to the promises of God serving as the ultimate witness that we can achieve what should be even overcoming death, hell, and the grace. Our believing in the reconciliation act of Jesus is our act of declaration that not only declares what should be but also serves as impetus for us to take appropriate actions to achieve what should be. The experiences of our lives as we live in what should be, declaring and acting, is evidence, seen and unseen, that God is faithful to his Word. The witness of our reconciled living is not just for us but for everyone and every thing in our space. We become the walking advertisement, witness, of what living in Jesus can and do for our lives. Therefore, our very being, existing and living in the world challenges you and I to put into practice that which we believe. Whatever we face do it by being alive, fully believing in what should be, our becoming, even if it appears our experiences are death, hell, and grave experiences. Being alive suggest that we refuse to accept what appears to be and strive toward what shall become, generously acting on what we believe, giving toward what should be as though it is. Our generous being in living positions as available, teachable by God and His Spirit for transformation for our good.
