His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of the warrior; the Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.
Psalm 147:10-11 (NIV)
This psalm reminds us that God values trust and reverence over strength and performance. To truly see as the Lord sees, we must shift our focus from what looks powerful to what is faithful. When we pray, “Lord, I Want To See,” we are asking for the vision to recognize that God’s delight rests not in our ability but in our dependence on Him. In that realization lies Hidden Manna—the quiet peace and joy that come from knowing His love is not earned but received through trust. The world celebrates control and might, but God celebrates humility and hope. He is pleased when our hearts lean on His unfailing love, even when we feel weak or uncertain. Today, open your eyes to what truly pleases God, and let His hidden nourishment strengthen you in simple, steadfast faith.
