And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

John 10:22-28

How do you know the difference between all the voices around you and the voice of God within you? In John 10, Jesus says, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me,” reminding us that Discerning The Holy begins with learning to recognize the voice that leads toward life, truth, and purpose. What is High and Lifted Up is not simply having many options, but having the wisdom to follow the right direction when competing voices demand your attention. For a people who have had to navigate misleading narratives, limited expectations, and conflicting messages about our worth, this passage reminds us that God's voice has always called us toward dignity, destiny, and abundance. Dream Big, because the Shepherd who knows your name also knows the future He has prepared for you and is able to guide you into it. Decide To Become someone who listens carefully, follows faithfully, and trusts God's leading even when the path is unfamiliar. Demonstrate Your Power by tuning out distractions, embracing divine direction, and walking confidently in your calling, because those who recognize the Shepherd's voice will continue to rise High and Lifted Up.
