But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

II Corinthians 4:7-9

One of the greatest demons we all face is the feeling of being insecure with ourselves. Insecure with ourselves and our abilities tend to get in the way of us pressing forward in what we believe should and can be for our lives. Often we think of the devil and evil as some external force coming up against us, and yes it is easy to identify people, places, and things as at odds with us and what can and should be for our life, however, the reality is that we are our biggest stumbling block. At Calvary, the devil, evil, including death, hell, and grave experiences; all external forces were defeated when Jesus gave up the ghost, gave up His Spirit to God, overcoming His flesh so as to be Empowered in order to inherit all power. The Spirit of God that resides in you, your treasure, longs to be at one with God and the vicissitudes of life are just opportunities for your Spirit to come alive, for you to be Empowered, though your flesh will resist, the pressing is necessary to release your treasure. As you release your treasure, the breath of God, His Spirit inside of you connects with God the Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer, giving you all power to accomplish whatever is necessary to live in your promises, the what can and should be for your life, a Most Favored Status.
