See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears,[a] we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.

God as our Father provides for us our source of hope, expectation for life that will yield us a harvest, causing us to be fruitful and multiply in each and every one of our experiences. The more we see God as our Father and as His children we are connected to the source of creation that gives us access to whatever we experience, power to engage it from a perspective that can work for our good. Even if we engage the experiences of our lives and they appear impossible or too great or our abilities for even our willingness to do what is necessary for them to work out for our good, our Father, God, redeems us from the brink of our own or external disaster to show us the way in which we yet can be sustained to live and live abundantly. You and I have a Most Favored Status because of whose we are and who we are, do not negate the power you possess and what you have access to as a child of God; Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer of all life!
