For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
Acts 2:25-28
To experience the New Mercies of God in the experiences of our life we must be able to see the light also in our darkness; to have hope, expectations in the midst of life’s challenges and impossibilities. Our ability to hope in hopeless situations provides an insight into our experiences in which we can see God and thus see ourselves from the perspective of His presence, power, and promises. Because of the tender mercies of the Lord, He causes the sun to come down scattering our darkness and dispelling the shadows of death; giving us hope to rise out of our despair to a place of power and promises of what can and should be for our life and life more abundantly. It is in New Mercies every day that we can and will rise, be resurrected to the fulfillment of God’s promise for our lives; to Breathe: New Life. See God, the light of God’s presence, power, and promise, no matter how dark it may be or impossible it appears, catch the light of God in and through your experiences, causing the light of God to rise, scattering darkness and death for you to Breathe: New Life!
