SPRING FORTH NOW
O Lord, I give my life to you. I trust in you, my God! Do not let me be disgraced, or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat. No one who trusts in you will ever be disgraced, but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others. Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. Remember, O Lord, your compassion and unfailing love, which you have shown from long ages past.
Psalm 25:1-6 (NLT)
Our willingness to allow God, His Word of promises for our lives, to lead and guide us through life and its challenges releases God’s mercy to and for us to endure and yet overcome. No one is immune from making bad and/or wrong choices in our lives as we seek to live in our promises, it is common for us all to yield to temptations that draw us away from the path of life God has ordained. However, we can be confident that our determination to live in God's Word, His promises, and with them, He has already provided sufficient grace, New Mercies, for us so that His strength, His will is made perfect in our weaknesses. Turn over the responsibility of getting over whatever tempts you and/or separates you from God’s promises and arrive at where you are supposed to be, allowing God to lead and guide you. As you release to God’s guiding Spirit, all along the way He provides New Mercies to combat your bad choices which cause you to miss the mark, positioning you to Breathe: New Life in and through them all.
