DAILY MEDITATION

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

The Power Of Staying Connected comes because you and I choose to plug in to God and turn on the power, however, it also requires that we accept the responsibility of appropriate use of God’s power. God does not give us power to use as we wish but to reflect the essence and fullness of who God is. Thus, with the power of God comes a responsibility as reflect in our use, decision-making for the use of God’s power. You can have the power but if you do not use it responsibly, you can and will do more damage than harm, have it but misuse it, misrepresenting who God is. In our nation today, the President stands accused of abusing the power of His office which reflects the will and character of our nation. Yes, he is the President and as a result have Presidential power, however, the key for the appropriate use of his Presidential power lies in his decision-making. Therefore, power given from a source must reflect the source and thus the Power Of Staying Connected to the source is critical. God has promised, if we are in right relationship with Him, we have access and the right to the fullness of His power to live and live life and life more abundantly but it also comes with the responsibility to follow the leading and guiding of His Spirit which will reflect the nature and character of God. Catch The Wind of God, for in the wind, in His Spirit, we have the ability to make choices, decisions that reflect the source of our power. Power of God is not given to you to use as you please but instead to flow with God by flowing with His Spirit. God’s Spirit provides us an internal mechanism that convicts us to the way and responsibility to the power given to us by God, the power reflecting God and His sole purpose of life-giving revelation to you and to your space. Catch The Wind so that the power received is rightfully, righteously used to advance God’s Kingdom and His promises of life and life more abundantly!
