For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.
II Corinthians 13:4-6
As we engage life with its challenges and difficulties we can do so with power even in our weakness for it is God’s promise to us. Holding to the promise of God for life and life more abundantly is the expectation, hope that transcends what is in order for us to get to what should be. LIVE through all things with the hope that God has declared, ordained, and accomplished His will through your circumstances. Christ, the Son of God, endured the cross not as a supernatural being but as human with the difference being, He possessed a hope, an expectation that God’s will would be done in and through Him in His circumstances. Through the suffering, death, grave, and hell Christ keep pressing forward, despite and in spite of how he felt or what it looked like, fueled by hope, His faith that what He did not see or feel in the moment would be realized in His obedience to God’s will. Take stock of who you are and whose you are and believe, leveraging it all fueled by your hope in your life and circumstances and God will not fail. In your weakness is God’s opportunity to reveal Himself to you and your space that He is God, Sovereign, Lord and Master of all things. God works out everything for our good because He has purposed and planned, not just in your now but also before the foundation of the world was laid, He predestined you to win, LIVE and do so with life and life more abundantly. Fruitful and Multiply is not about things, tangible stuff, but instead the power of the intangible, the Spirit of God that comes upon you and springs’ forth within you, pouring out the exceedingly, abundantly, more than you can ever ask or think!
