And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

John 16:22-24

We have often heard that we can ask anything in the name of Jesus and God, our Father, will give it to us, it is true, however, your ability to ask and receive is directly connected to your relationship with them, including your Word and their Spirit.  Because of the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus on our behalf and taking up His role as Advocate, the Spirit within us, and sitting at the right hand of the Father, we can discern that which we can ask with what is the will of God for our lives.  We are rooted in the will of God for our lives because of our relationship and release of Jesus, His Spirit, in and over our lives, thus, we Try The Spirit By The Spirit to discern what we ask to Open Up the Way for God’s promises of life and life more abundantly.
