DAILY MEDITATION

And the Lord said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments: Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.

I Kings 9:3-5

God challenges us not to perfection but to diligently seeking Him; progressing toward who He has intended us to be. God knew and knows that because of the flesh that we would be subject to shortcomings and as a result gave His Son to assure us that His covenant, promises to us would be fulfilled not because of our righteousness but instead because of Christ’s righteousness. By no means does it mean that we have no obligation to walk upright before God but what it does mean is that as we struggle to live and be who God has intended and according to His way we have access to grace, favor of God on our lives that removes our sin, separation and reconciles us to God and His promises for our lives. Remember life is a process and as we mature through the process with God’s help, by diligently seeking Him and inclining our ear toward Him; convicting/judging us so we may correct our ways, instructing us by leading and guiding us to the way over and out of our shortcomings, reproofing us by confirming us and HIs favor on our lives, and holding true to our doctrine, faith/belief in the we are throughly furnished unto all good works. Stay in tune with God, seeking Him and His promises and that which would separate you from God, He has made a way through Christ to bridge that separation to our ones with Him and His promises, Transforming Spaces and us to His will and way for our lives. Occupy Your Promise not because of your righteousness but on the righteousness of God who already gave, made it possible so you and I could overcome and inherit all things, the life and life more abundantly promised.
