DAILY MEDITATION

Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses,

and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the Lord! Yet he also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words: but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of them that work iniquity.

Isaiah 31:1-2

Having faith, trusting in what should be is a foundational block for building out your well-lived and joy filled life. The what should be for your life demands you taking the reins of your life with the confidence that it will come to pass, by definition it is your acting and believing as a Transformational Leader. Transformational Leadership implies that what is, is not what should be and that the advancement toward the promise will have difficulties but one will hold fast to that which you believe is the promise, the what should be. No matter how you feel about your situation, the transformation process will bring about tension and thus having confidence in what is the promise is critical. It becomes easy in the midst of the tensions to divert you confidence into other people, places, and things that may appear easier and more comfortable but you cannot be deterred, trust what God has said, your promise, endure and win. Occupy Your Promise by not trusting in what is or what appears to be comfortable and better but instead stay true to what you believe should be and forge ahead to the life and life more abundantly promised. God, the Creator of all things, is with you through thick and thin, go through in order to get to.
