DAILY MEDITATION

And the children of Joseph spake unto Joshua, saying, Why hast thou given me but one lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I am a great people, forasmuch as the Lord hath blessed me hitherto? And Joshua answered them, If thou be a great people, then get thee up to the wood country, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee. And the children of Joseph said, The hill is not enough for us: and all the Canaanites that dwell in the land of the valley have chariots of iron, both they who are of Bethshean and her towns, and they who are of the valley of Jezreel. And Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph, even to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, Thou art a great people, and hast great power: thou shalt not have one lot only: But the mountain shall be thine; for it is a wood, and thou shalt cut it down: and the outgoings of it shall be thine: for thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have iron chariots, and though they be strong.

Joshua 17:14-18

Transformational Leadership requires courage in the face of fear. The root of fear is the unknown and to counteract the unknown one must have confidence with your ability, regardless of circumstances, to do that which you have been called to do. Confidence in your calling by no means suggest that just because you walk in your calling that there will be no trouble or storms but instead because you are walking in your calling you will overcome whatever is before you. You are called of God and your response to God leads to God and thus your pathway gets closer and closer to Him and in His presence there is the fullness of joy, despite and in spite of the journey. There is absolutely nothing that can stand before God, get on up to the place God is calling you to and your way, your path of life will be cleared and you will overcome and inherit all things. Occupy Your Promise by your confidence in who you are and whose you are and let it be the fuel that transforms your space and you to what God has declared, promised for your life and life more abudnnalty!
