DAILY MEDITATION

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

John 10:10-11

Without question life is filled with difficulties and adversities that seem to come out of nowhere but be confident that Christ has come to give us life and life more abundantly in the midst of them all. Living in The Spirit reassures and motivates us to continue to press forward despite the stuff of life that seeks to destroy and steal our joy. We live in a time in which we are experiencing the darkness sand ugliness of humanity and whether we admit it or not it affects every aspect of our lives. The only way to survive the darkness and ugliness of life is to Live in The Spirit, be carried by the wind of God above and through to hope, the promise of life and life more abundantly regardless. It is difficult to keep one’s sight and actions determined when we are faced with so much adversity, however, as a result God sent Christ in the midst of the world to provide us a star, a light to show us the path to the promises of God. God is our good Shepherd and even though we as sheep do not see, He sees, prepares our way, and feeds us all along the way. Thank God for God and our access to Him and His light. Let’s Go In to the light of the world that scatters the darkness and brings us into greener pastures, stiller waters, and restores our soul, our hope to the promise of life and life more abundantly!
