And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
Acts 5:40-42
The apostles had every reason to be silent after their suffering—but instead, they rejoiced. They understood that their pain was a testament to their purpose. The Hidden Manna in this passage is that when you truly know who you are and whose you are, opposition becomes confirmation. I Got It means realizing that what God has placed inside of you cannot be beaten out, silenced, or stopped. Their joy came from knowing that suffering for Christ drew them closer to Him. Today, when challenges come for doing what’s right, don’t retreat—rejoice. What others see as a setback is actually your spiritual strength showing—you got it, and it’s working.
