And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever. Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
There is nothing more important than the presence of God. The presence of God confirms the power of God in and through our lives. As we Live in The Spirit we ensure that wherever we are and/or whatever is going on God is with us. If God is with us what in the world can be against us? God, our Shepherd, leads and guides by His eye, which is His very presence in our lives. The challenge to you and I is to continue to nurture our relationship with God that He would dwell, reside with us. Further, we are challenged that in our very actions that God desires to be with us, and thus our decisions and acts must incorporate the fact that God is with us and He wants to be with us. Therefore, The Spirit provides us a compass or radar that reminds us that where we should be is where God is. Our worship, since of belonging, and security is wrapped up in being positioned and our determination to be where God is. The coming of Christ was for the purpose that God would be with us and thus save, deliver us into the promises of God. Let’s Go In pursuing God and His presence in and over our lives and there we are fed, made fat in the glory, presence, and promises of God!
