SPRING FORTH NOW

Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Acts 2:36-37

The gift of Christ is not given just to us as individuals but also to us as the “we,” community, so that the “we,” the expansion of the “I,” are afforded the opportunity of salvation, deliverance into the life and life more abundantly promised. The mistake of humankind has been and will be its primary focus on individualism over community, they are not and never were intended to be in competition, they are complimentary to one another. When God created humankind, He gave us delegated authority to have dominion, subdue as well as redress; care for His creation as He the Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer does. Therefore, as we are reconciled to God and HIs intent for our life and life more abundantly through the gift of Christ, “we” are called into reconciliation, unity with all of His creation to make the Kingdom of God flesh, real in our world. It is God’s Spirit in which He makes known His intent for our lives and all of His creation, therefore, in order for us to successfully receive and activate the gift of Christ, reconciliation, unity we must Catch The Wind of His Spirit and flow. On this the first day of Kwanzaa, Umoja - unity and across the Commonwealth, Boxing Day, let us be givers of the gift, creating opportunities for all to flourish as God intends in our everyday walking around life and Tell It by our actions, working together for the good with God’s creation. Remember, Jesus came to bring peace; harmony with the will of God, toward all. All of creation awaits the giving of our gift in order that we all will prosper!
