April 5

So when it was evening on that same day, the first day of the week, though the disciples were [meeting] behind barred doors for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them, and said, “Peace to you.” After He said this, He showed them His hands and His side. When the disciples saw the Lord, they were filled with great joy.  Then Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you [as My representatives].”  And when He said this, He breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.  If you forgive the sins of anyone they are forgiven [because of their faith]; if you retain the sins of anyone, they are retained [and remain unforgiven because of their unbelief].” . . . Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].

John 20:19-23; II Corinthians 5:17 (AMP)

Peace was spoken into a locked room, proving that no closed door can keep out a risen Savior or a resurrected purpose. Jesus stepped into their fear, breathed on them, and reminded them that resurrection is not just something to celebrate—it is something to step into. When you Look Up, you realize that the same breath that raised hope in that room is the same breath empowering you to live new, to build new, and to become new. For a people who have had to rise again and again, this is your confirmation that you are not just survivors—you are new creations, High and Lifted Up with divine purpose. Dream Big, because resurrection means your past does not get the final say—God does. Decide To Become who God says you are now, because transformation is not theoretical—it is active, present, and powerful. Demonstrate Your Power by walking in peace, extending grace, and building boldly, knowing that if God brought you out, it was never just to restore you—it was to send you.
