In your patience possess ye your souls.
Luke 21:19
What if the win isn’t speed, success, or applause—but endurance? Luke 21:19 (KJV) cuts straight through the noise: “In your patience possess ye your souls.” Focus here means guarding your inner life when everything around you is trying to rush, distract, or wear you down. To live High And Lifted Up is to refuse to let chaos dictate your spirit or your direction. For Black people and our communities, patience has never been passive—it’s been a powerful, faithful resistance that keeps us whole while we build forward. When you hold your soul steady, your hands stay free to work the promise without losing yourself in the process. This word spans generations, calling us all to stay Focused, stay lifted, and trust that endurance is how destiny is carried to completion.
