March 29
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Matthew 11:29-30
Ever felt like you’re carrying more than you were built to hold? Matthew 11:29–30 (KJV) invites you to unlearn the grind that’s been wearing you down and to take on a rhythm that actually gives you rest. To Transcend is to stop glorifying exhaustion and start choosing alignment with a way of living that restores instead of drains. There is a posture, High And Lifted Up, where strength is not found in pushing harder, but in walking lighter because you’re not carrying everything alone. For Black people who have been taught to be strong at all costs, this is a needed shift—strength also looks like knowing when to release what was never yours to carry. When you decide to become anchored in peace, even your pace changes, and your spirit starts to breathe again. So demonstrate your power by choosing rest, choosing ease, and trusting that you don’t have to break yourself to move forward.
