Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?  It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do?

deeper than hell; what canst thou know?  The measure thereof is longer than the earth,

and broader than the sea.  If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together,

then who can hinder him?  For he knoweth vain men:

he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it?  For vain man would be wise,

though man be born like a wild ass's colt.  If thou prepare thine heart,

and stretch out thine hands toward him;

Job 11:7-13

How do you measure a God who cannot be contained? Job 11:7–13 (KJV) reminds us that God’s depth stretches beyond our reach and His wisdom rises High And Lifted Up above every attempt to define Him. To Transcend is to stop trying to shrink God to fit your questions and instead allow your faith to expand beyond your understanding. For Black people who have had to trust God in situations that made no sense, this truth affirms that mystery is not absence—it is magnitude. When you release what you cannot control and align your heart with Him, clarity meets you on the other side of surrender. God’s greatness is not meant to confuse you; it is meant to carry you. Lift your thinking, steady your hands, and move forward knowing that the God you trust is greater than anything you face.
