For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.

Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth,

in the seas, and all deep places.  He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.

Psalm 135:5-7

The God we serve is not limited by what limits us. Psalm 135:5–7 in The Message celebrates a Lord whose greatness stretches across earth and sky, a power High And Lifted Up above every system, storm, and circumstance. That truth invites us to Transcend the small expectations that try to shrink our faith. When God commands the clouds, winds, and rain, He also holds authority over the paths we are trying to build. For a people who have had to dream beyond barriers and keep moving when the odds said stop, this passage reminds us that divine power fuels human perseverance. God is still creating movement where others see stagnation. Lift your vision, move with courage, and build boldly under the authority of a God whose greatness cannot be contained.
