If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day:
the darkness and the light are both alike to thee. For thou hast possessed my reins:
thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
Psalm 139:11-13
Darkness is not dark to God, and hiding has never limited His sight. Psalm 139:11–13 (KJV) reminds us that even when we think our struggles are concealed, the One who formed us still sees clearly. Knowing Your Blindspots means realizing that what feels hidden to you is already understood by heaven. There is no shadow deep enough to outrun a perspective that is High And Lifted Up. For Black people who have carried private pain behind public strength, this truth brings comfort instead of fear. The God who knows your hidden places is the same God who crafted your inward parts with intention. Let every generation walk boldly in the light, trusting that being fully seen by God is the beginning of real freedom.
