Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Luke 6:38
What you release is what returns, and the measure starts with you. Luke 6:38 (KJV) reminds us that generosity isn’t just about money—it reveals what we haven’t noticed about our own hearts. Knowing Your Blindspots means recognizing when scarcity, fear, or judgment is shaping how you give and receive, hindering your ability to live and be sustained High And Lifted Up. God’s economy operates above ground-level thinking, inviting us to lift our focus beyond self-protection and into trust. In our shared story and lived experience, especially as a community of Black people, this is a needed recalibration: healing flows when we stop clenching and start opening. When vision rises, hands loosen, and what we pour out comes back with room to spare. Let this word stretch every generation upward, teaching us to give freely, live honestly, and trust God with the outcome.
