My defence is of God,

which saveth the upright in heart.

Psalm 7:10

You do not have to fight every battle when you know what is guarding your heart. In Psalm 7:10 (KJV), David declares, “My defence is of God,” trusting God to protect those whose hearts are upright. Holy Ground is where you stop letting opposition control your attention and start protecting the heart that must carry the vision. Living High And Lifted Upmeans sitting with the vision until confidence in God becomes stronger than fear of what might come against you. Our Black communities flourish when we guard our hearts without hardening them and turn our strength toward building, healing, creating, and lifting one another. Dream Big, because resistance does not get the final word over your future. Decide To Become secure in who guards you, and Demonstrate Your Power by protecting your peace and putting your energy toward what you were called to build.
