Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,

nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Psalm 1:1-3

Where you plant yourself will eventually show up in what your life produces. In Psalm 1:1–3 (KJV), the blessed person chooses influences wisely, delights in truth, and becomes like a tree planted by rivers of water whose fruit appears “in his season.” Holy Ground is not merely where you stand; it is the people, practices, wisdom, and values in which you choose to root your life. Living High And Lifted Up means sitting with the vision long enough to develop roots that can sustain the fruit you hope to produce. Our communities flourish when we plant ourselves near sources that nourish Black faith, wisdom, creativity, ownership, healthy families, and generational possibility. Dream Big, but choose ground that can nourish what you are trying to grow. Decide To Become deeply rooted, and Demonstrate Your Power by bearing fruit in your season that becomes nourishment for somebody else.
