They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion,

which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem,

so the LORD is round about his people

from henceforth even for ever.

Psalm 125:1-2

You can be surrounded without being stuck. In Psalm 125:1–2 (KJV), the mountains surrounding Jerusalem become a picture of God surrounding His people, reminding us that Holy Ground can give us stability even when life around us keeps shifting. Living High And Lifted Up means sitting with the vision until you become more grounded in what surrounds and sustains you than shaken by what threatens you. Our Black communities have endured because faith, family, friendship, culture, and collective care surrounded us when systems were determined to unsettle us. Dream Big, because being grounded gives you the courage to reach higher without losing yourself. Decide To Become steady enough that every changing circumstance does not change your direction. Demonstrate Your Power by standing firm, surrounding others with strength, and building communities where people feel secure enough to flourish.
