SPRING FORTH NOW 2026
September 4
Now, the “Lord” I’m referring to is the Holy Spirit, and wherever he is Lord, there is freedom. We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfigured into his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
II Corinthians 3:17-18 (TPT)
You cannot keep standing in the presence of possibility and remain committed to the person you used to be. In II Corinthians 3:17–18 (TPT), Paul connects the Spirit with freedom and teaches that beholding God's glory transforms us progressively into that same image, one that is High And Lifted Up. Holy Ground is where we stay open long enough for what we encounter to change what we carry, how we see ourselves, and who we are becoming. For Black people and our communities, transformation means refusing every image of limitation imposed upon us and reclaiming the freedom to see ourselves as gifted, worthy, creative, powerful, and called to flourish. Dream Big, because the vision before you may be revealing the person you are becoming. Decide To Become free enough to release identities that cannot follow you into your future. Demonstrate Your Power by living transformed and creating spaces where others are free to become too.
