I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables,

that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time,

but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it;

because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Habakkuk 2:1-3

Some visions need a watchtower before they need a workforce. In Habakkuk 2:1–3 (KJV), the prophet positions himself to watch, listen, and then write the vision clearly, teaching us that Engaging The Holy includes creating enough space to hear before rushing to act. What is High And Lifted Up is the discipline to sit with the vision until it becomes clear in you, you mature enough to carry it, and the next faithful step comes into focus. Our communities have always needed visionaries who could see beyond present conditions, name a better future, and make the vision plain enough for others to run with it. Dream Big, because what you see from the watchtower can be greater than what surrounds you on the ground. Decide To Become disciplined enough to wait, listen, write, and prepare without mistaking delay for denial. Demonstrate Your Power by making the vision plain, putting your hands to what is ready now, and building so others can run with you.
