Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

And I will wait upon the LORD,

that hideth his face from the house of Jacob,

and I will look for him.

Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me

are for signs and for wonders in Israel

from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits,

and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter:

should not a people seek unto their God?

for the living to the dead?

Not every voice deserves access to your vision. In Isaiah 8:16–19 (KJV), Isaiah chooses to wait upon God while others chase competing voices for answers, reminding us that Engaging The Holy means knowing where to turn when direction is unclear. What is High And Lifted Up is a life that sits with the vision long enough to distinguish God's wisdom from the noise, fear, and opinions competing to shape our future. Our communities flourish when we recover the wisdom to listen deeply, discern carefully, and refuse to surrender our future to voices that do not value our dignity, history, or possibilities. Dream Big, but be discerning about who gets permission to speak into what God is growing within you. Decide To Become someone patient enough to wait for wisdom instead of grabbing the quickest answer. Demonstrate Your Power by guarding your vision, seeking what gives life, and helping your family and community hear clearly enough to move faithfully toward their future.
