For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
II Corinthians 10:3-5 (NIV)
Not every battle you face happens around you; some of the most important ones happen within you. In II Corinthians 10:3–5, Paul reminds us that our weapons are divinely powerful for tearing down strongholds and taking every thought captive to Christ, revealing that Encountering The Holy often begins with allowing God to renovate the mind before He redirects the life. What is High and Lifted Up is a person who refuses to let fear, bitterness, lies, or limiting beliefs occupy space that belongs to God's truth, because transformed thinking becomes the foundation for transformed living. For a people who have endured generations of voices that questioned our worth, our humanity, and our potential, this passage proclaims that God's truth has the power to dismantle every false narrative and awaken the divine image planted within us. Dream Big, because every stronghold that falls creates room for a greater vision, a stronger faith, and a future no longer confined by yesterday's limitations. Decide To Become someone who daily surrenders every thought, every ambition, and every fear to Christ, trusting that a renewed mind will always produce a renewed life. Demonstrate Your Power by speaking truth over yourself, encouraging freedom in others, and building communities where hope is stronger than despair, because every mind transformed by Christ becomes living evidence of a people standing High and Lifted Up.
